does anybody know any other alternatives to curing insomnia?

ok, i’m 24 and have a problem sleeping. its always been a problem since i was 14. the only time i actually slept was when i was pregnant. i’ve tried diferrent alternatives-working out, minimizing sodas, for two weeks i jogged 2 miles non-stop-still nothing. i havent gone to the doctor. i know i should but i dont have insurance. i took sleeping pills and i slept like a zombie. so, now i’ve just kind of been used to sleeping late and wake up early. my mother did suffer from insomnia for years and years. she also tried everything and maybe about 2 yrs ago she gained control of it. i can only assume that i will suffer from this for the rest of my life. any suggestions?
